Cycling

When it comes to biking, Boise has a little something for everyone. For the bike commuters and road cyclist, Boise is coveted as one of the top 50 most bikeable cities in the US with more than 180 miles of paved bike lanes. Into Mountain biking? Enthusiasts will love the 150+ miles of single and double track trails of the Boise foothills, especially when the ski slopes of Bogus Basin transform into gravity-fed down hill bike trails in the summer.

For the adventure cyclists, the surrounding area has over 2,000+ miles of single track just waiting to be discovered. Specifically, the Idaho Smoke n' Fire 400 starting and ending right here in Boise! If your style of riding is more of the laid back type, Boise has you covered. There are over 25+ miles of paved smooth riding along the beautiful Boise river, from the Lucky Peak Dam all the way to Eagle, Idaho. Cyclists, welcome to Boise!
